Bee’s Bees Apiary

Hey there!
Bee’s Bees is a local family-owned apiary, and we are focused on ethical beekeeping, local honey, and teaching the next generation to honor creation while staying rooted in stewardship, simplicity, and a love for the land.
We are passionate about saving the bee population and spreading awareness of the honey bee crisis. Our name comes from a nickname given by our beloved grandfather. He always said that our co-owner + beekeeper, Jess, was a busy little bee, and as she got older, her fascination with bees grew.
In 2024, Jamin surprised our family with our very first hive and we were in love.. On May 16, 2025, our PawPaw passed away but before that, our cousin, Dena told us that we couldn’t pass up on the name of “Bee’s Bees.” We told PawPaw about the name and laughingly, he agreed. Saying that it was “perfect.” Bee’s Bees is our family’s own special way of keeping the memory of Morris and Mildred Louviere alive.
Meet Our Team

Hi, we’re Jamin and Jessica (or Bee). Husband + wife, parents, friends, and the hearts behind Bee’s Bees.
Jamin is the quiet rock of our operation – steady, hardworking, and our gifted hands that build (or fix) whatever we need around here.
Jess is the storyteller, beekeeper, and one set of hands behind our small batch honey and beeswax goods.
Together, we’re building something slow, sweet, and meaningful while teaching the next generation to honor creation.

Jade, our daughter, our daily dose of joy. At 12 years old, she shines bright with personality and is full of creativity, kindness, and the kind of wonder that makes everything feel more magical.
She is musically gifted, often filling our home with sweet melodies on the piano. She has a love for creatures and enjoys filling our home with them.
Around here, she is known as the bee-namer, idea machine, office manager, and your order fulfiller.

Jett is our 7-year-old ball of energy, imagination, and endless laughter. Whether he is building epic Lego mechs or racing around the yard to show his “speed and muscles,” life is never boring with him around.
He is always finding ways to turn the world into his playground.
He is the quality control guy around here, ensuring the bees are well cared for and the honey is up to par. He may just be their’ biggest fan.

Morris and Mildred Louviere are known to most as simply: Mawmaw + Pawpaw.
They gave the entire family adventure, security, laughter, and a sense of home wherever we went. Often cross-country in the motorhome.
They were the kind of people who made you feel safe, seen, and spoiled in every way.
Starting our apiary has been a way to carry a piece of them with us – honoring their legacy of love, selflessness, family, and simple joy.
the story behind our name
The name of our honey holds a special place in our hearts, rooted deeply in family memories. Our family’s patriarch, Pawpaw, lovingly called Jessica, our co-owner, “Bee” because of her constant busyness, and over time, that nickname became her known name among family and close friends.
Mawmaw and Pawpaw loved their grandchildren more than anything else. They preferred to spend their spare time traveling with their grandchildren, and some of the sweetest memories are the slow summers in the motorhome, seeing new places, waking up to biscuits and gravy, and bird watching.
With both of them now gone, naming our apiary Bee’s Bees is our heartfelt tribute to keep the memory of Morris and Mildred Louviere alive through the sweet legacy of honey production and the busy little bees that symbolize their adventures together..
Every jar of Bee’s Bees honey carries a bit of their story. It’s not just about bees – it’s about family, memory, and living slowly + intentionally with a full heart.
